Main Bathroom project Dec 2012 to May 2013

I completely gutted our main bathroom myself.  All walls were plasterboard and plaster 3/4" thick.  To top it off the bathroom had ceramic tile all the way around 4' up and it was attached by wire mesh and mortar.  It sucked!  Oh Well!   My situation was made easier by having crawl space below and attic above open so plumbing and electrical was similar to new work.  I installed a self standing shower stall  Oct 2012 in basement laundry room so showering was available.  The whole bathroom was enclosed with moisture resistant drywall.

MVC-013S (3).JPG (68387 bytes)   All outside walls were insulated as well as inside walls for noise control

MVC-034S.JPG (72740 bytes)   I bought bead board strips at Lowes.  It took 167 individual boards. I  made my own trim boards for I did not like the look of what was available.
